Y20 Delegates Published in Lowy Institute G20 Monitor

Global Voices Y20 delegates Lachlan Campbell and Erin Watson-Lynn are joint-contributors in the October issue of the Lowy Institute G20 Monitor. Their paper 'The Y20 2015: The G20 youth perspective' discusses the G20 response to the growing problem of youth unemployment.

Lachlan was the Global Voices National Scholarship recipient for the Y20 2015 delegation. Lachlan recently graduated as valedictorian of the Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Economics program at the University of Queensland. He was also awarded the Allens Prize for Overall Excellence in Law. Lachlan is a Strategy and Public Policy intern at Nous Group, and has previously worked in London as a Legal Clerk at Linklaters, and has interned at the Commonwealth Department of Treasury, as well as at KPMG Brisbane in the Economics and Policy Team. 

Erin represented Monash University for the Global Voices Y20 2015 delegation. Erin is currently undertaking her PhD focusing on Women’s entrepreneurship in the Indian Diaspora in Australia. During her academic career she has been published in Australia, South Asia and China, and over the last six years has been engaged as a labour market analyst and research assistant at Monash University, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, and Swinburne University of Technology.
