Nathan attended the 2013 VC and Entrepreneurs Trade Mission to Israel, run by AICC in Tel Aviv, where he represented Monash University's Faculty of Arts. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce and Arts and is the international students officer at the Monash Students Student Society.
Founded only 65 years ago, Israel has been at the forefront of innovation across the developed world. With a population of a little over eight million, it is hard to believe that Israel has the third highest number of companies listed on the NASDAQ exchange and also the highest density of start-ups in the world. At the same time, Israel is also home to over 34,000 non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and it is estimated that over 1/3 of Israelis are volunteers.
